The British Bulldogs (WWF Coliseum Video - 1986)This extremely hard to find wrestling video was released in 1986 as part of the WWF Home Video series by Coliseum Video. The video covers the prime of the British Bulldogs WWF career, prior to Dynamite Kid's back injury, with matches spanning from September 1985 - July 1986. What makes this British Bulldogs video such a collectors item is not only how scarce these tapes are, but also the quality of this particular video. The video comes complete in its original clamshell case and was NOT A RENTAL VIDEO; it comes from my private collection. Tape has only been watched twice. Usually these rare videos are video store rejects and were watched and rewound hundreds of times. The only way to purchase a newer copy of this video is to buy it sealed (A sealed copy of this particular video commands between $200 - $300). THIS RARITY IS A MUST-HAVE FOR ANY DIEHARD BRITISH BULLDOGS FAN!Clamshell case and insert are in excellent condition with only minor yellowing due to age. Video tape is in perfect condition; labels are intact and still adhere to the cassette, but have yellowed due to the age of the and composition of the label's adhesive (a common problem with many Coliseum Video releases from the 1980's)Davey Boy Smith & the Dynamite Kid defeated the Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff (w/ Freddie Blassie) at 6:46 when Smith dropkicked Volkoff from the top rope, as Volkoff prepared to slam Dynamite, with Dynamite landing on top for the win (10/21/85; Madison Square Garden)The Dynamite Kid pinned Bret Hart at 12:25 by blocking a suplex into the ring and reversing it into a roll up; after the bout, Jim Neidhart helped in double teaming Dynamite until Davey Boy Smith made the save (9/14/85; Landover, MD Jim Neidhart pinned Davey Boy Smith at 5:39 with his feet outside the ring after Smith was dropped face-first on the top turnbuckle (9/14/85; Landover, MD) Davey Boy Smith, the Dynamite Kid, & Capt. Lou Albano defeated Johnny V, WWF Tag Team Champions Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine at around 13:30 when Dynamite pinned Beefcake, the illegal man, with a roll up as Beefcake pounded away at Albano in the corner (3/16/86; Madison Square Garden) Davey Boy Smith & the Dynamite Kid (w/ Capt. Lou Albano & Ozzy Osbourne) defeated WWF Tag Team Champions Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake (w/ Johnny V) to win the titles when Smith pinned Valentine after ramming him head-first into Dynamite; the collision knocked both Valentine and Dynamite out cold (WrestleMania II - 4/7/86; Chicago, IL; Rosemont Horizon) WWF Tag Team Champions Davey Boy Smith & the Dynamite Kid defeated the Moondogs at 18:23 when Dynamite pinned Spot with a crossbody off the top rope, over the heads of both Davey Boy Smith and Rex (7/12/86; Madison Square Garden) Greg Valentine (w/ Johnny V) pinned WWF Tag Team Champion Davey Boy Smith at 9:12 following an axe handle from the middle turnbuckle to the back of the head (4/22/86; Madison Square Garden) WWF Tag Team Champion the Dynamite Kid pinned Brutus Beefcake (w/ Johnny V) at 11:18 by blocking a suplex into the ring and reversing it into a roll up; after the bout, Beefcake tied Dynamite upside down in the corner and pounded away at him until Davey Boy Smith made the save (4/22/86; Madison Square Garden) WWF Tag Team Champions Davey Boy Smith & the Dynamite Kid defeated Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy (w/ Bobby Heenan) via disqualification in a non-title match at 4:55 when Studd shoved the referee; the champions put up little offense during the match and, afterwards, Studd and Bundy got into an arguement over the loss (4/86; Poughkeepsie, NY) Match listings courtesy of Graham Cawthon's awesome website, www.thehistoryofwwe.com
